"Buffy"

Buffy is now adopted by Ann Butran in Missouri, Jenny and Peaches mom.

There was a terrible error in Buffy's medical which said that she was a healthy 13 year old when in fact she is suffering from a kidney disease which will be fatal. I offered to personally drive up to get Buffy and replace her with another dog. Ann quickly told me that Buffy could not be replaced with another dog and that she and her husband would keep her and take care of her until God called her home.

In rescue we strive to get the best homes we can for these dogs and Ann just proved that we are doing a good job as we could not have gotten a better home for Buffy.

If you could take the time to let Ann know what a special person she is to love this little grandma dog and stick by her through the bad times, we would really appreciate it. You can send your letters to Ann at butryn@surfree.com

Also we will update the page as we get information on her condition and of course pictures....

UPDATE - October 7th, 2000

Buffy is doing great in her new home. She is on a special diet which is helping her condition. She loves to go for walks and sometimes plays with Jenny. Ann will be e-mailing us a new picture soon.

UPDATE - November 5th, 2000

Buffy continues to do well and is so happy in her new home with her new family. This is a picture of Buffy, Peaches and Jenny. Peaches recently had surgery but she is doing fine now with the help of two sweet sisters.
